BRAUN（ブラウン）は、以前はラジオやレコードプレーヤー、テレビまで製造販売していたドイツの日常家電メーカー。
Apple製品にも影響を与えたと言われる、ミニマルなデザインが特徴だ。
現在では電気シェイバーや電動歯ブラシが有名だ。
僕も髭はBRAUNのシェイバーで剃っている。
使っているのはM-90という、携帯用のシェイバー。
これを旅行・出張時はもちろん、日常的にも使っている。
M-90の良いところは、カバーが本体と一体になっているところ。
旅行・出張時に出先で使った時、カバーを失くす心配がない。
カバーは電源ストッパーの役目も兼任しているので、バッグの中で勝手に起動することもない。
掃除用のブラシもM-90の底面に一体化できる。
いつでもどこでも、手入れすることが可能だ。
また電池駆動なので、いちいち充電する必要がないのもポイントが高い。
僕は髭が濃くないので、一度電池を新調すれば、数ヶ月使うことができる。
もちろん出先で電池が切れたときも、コンビニに走ればすぐに使うことができる。
さらに、完全防水で水洗い可能なところも、お気に入りポイントだ。
ふだんはブラシで簡単に手入れしておいて、汚れがたまれば水洗いすることで、清潔感を維持できる。
欠点は純正の替刃がないところ。
長く使っていると、網歯が弱って破れてくる。
元々高価なものではないので、網歯が破れたら本体ごと買い替えるのが正解なのだろう。
しかし僕は貧乏性なので、モーターも元気でふつうに起動しているものを、簡単には処分できない。
幸いにもサードパーティ製の替網歯がAmazonで数種類販売されている。
その中で比較的レビュー評価が高いものを購入してみた。
さすがに純正ほどではないが、そこそこ使える。
当面は、これで使うつもりだ。

The good thing about the M-90 is that the cover is integrated with the main body.

The cover also serves as a power supply stopper, so it won’t turn on without permission in the bag.
A cleaning brush can also be integrated into the bottom of the M-90.
Anytime, anywhere, you can get it.
Also, since it is battery-powered, there is no need to charge it every time.
I don’t have a thick beard, so once I get a new battery, I can use it for several months.
Of course, even if the battery runs out on the go, you can use it as soon as you run to the convenience store.
In addition, it is a favorite point that it is completely waterproof and can be washed with water.
You can maintain the cleanliness by simply cleaning it with a brush and washing it with water if it gets dirty.
The downside is that there are no genuine replacement blades.
If you use it for a long time, the mesh teeth will weaken and break.
It’s not expensive to begin with, so if the mesh teeth break, the correct answer is to buy a new one.
However, I’m a poor person, so I can’t easily dispose of something that has a healthy motor and is running normally.
Luckily, there are several third-party replacement mesh teeth available on Amazon.
I bought one with relatively high reviews.
As expected, it is not as pure as it is, but it can be used all right.
For now, I’m going to use this.
